I just picked these boxes up tonight, really cold night. Anyone know the history on these unique boxes and the original purpose they were made for, they are about 35" W, 33"H and 20" D, well made and have a built in light. Sliding plexiglass doors, one shelf and a roller bearing drawer. Cannot seem to find these in my Snap-On catalogs. They were previous owned by a Snap-On dealer. Maybe they are for the dealers trucks, but I have never looked at anything like these.
Was originally thinking about using the 4 boxes as the base of a work bench. But they seem to be made to accept wheels and may keep them stacked together with wheels on the base.

If I lived closer you would not have got them , congrats . Now you have to show pics of them with loaded. I had a snap on collection ( toolboxes ,clocks, occ chopper, and diaramas) that now has lost its new home.
