My stepfather worked for Taylor Cat in Memphis for 30 plus years.
I have inherited some of his tools including two tool boxes.
Bottom cabinet is Marked as a Snap on but no other identifying markings other than Cat Yellow paint
Trying to learn when this was made. I guessing in the 50-60 range??

I agree with the 1940s. In my opinion it looks too old to be the 60s. I could be wrong but I’m going with 40s.

Snap on rk50 roll cab on bottom, early to mid 40s. That's the prewar cat top box from blackhawk. Here is postwar version(this one is from 1951).

OTG, that box in your pic looks really similar to my A2 Bonney box, I believe late 30's. Maybe same maker of both? The Bonney doesn't have the 2 front drawers tho.

Thanks for everyone's input. Bob served in WWII Marine Corp 2nd. He probably started to work for Taylor right after the war. This kinda fits with my memory of his tales and exploits

I have some Bonney wrenches and various.

I have built a new Garage behind the house and I want to use these boxes when I can.

thanks

You snuck right by me there Snapmom. Certainly not the first time I lost an auction to you. I’ve seen just a couple of those 1/4 sets myself. The color was the same.
