Does anyone remember the old wooden handled chisel scraper snap on used to make? I can't find one....on EBay. Was there a different OEM who made these? I never noticed in the Tool Truck thread. Thanks for the help.

That's it. A really thick heavy scraper you can sharpen and use a hammer on.

Does Snap On make those or is there a different OEM? Would you happen to have a part number? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it is a different OEM. Actually, I own a paint scraper that I could swear was the same OEM, I'll have to look at it. BUT, even if it is a different OEM, my guess is that this particular configuration is unique to Snap On.

I am quite partial to the older one with the rosewood handle, and the old Snap On logo. The Blue Point logo is telling on the newer one, as this is more often used for rebranded items. Oh, and the Snap On site for this says the COO is Canada:

The new ones don't look as smooth or finished as I remember. I had one of these about 15 years ago. They are a great tool around heavy equipment, using a hammer you can cut a big heavy gasket down pretty quick.
