Snap On Classic Screwdrivers: Old vs New- MATERIALS question

I've searched around and can't seem to find a direct definitive answer. I have a set of classics from around 2000. I'm looking to replace/expand this set and wanted to know if the plastic and the shape of the handle are still the same. Some newer sets I've seen (online) don't appear to have the same shape and the texture looks a little different.

Are the new sets exactly the same or did they turn out to be a "close enough" reissue? I no longer am on a route so I'm left to online purchases.

Thanks.

If they are I believe, light blue, they may be the slim handles which I do not believe are made anymore. For awhile SO made a set of 6-8 screwdrivers that were designed for smaller hands.

I had some slim handles believed bought them in the mid-90's (no idea what happened over time lost).

But all others are the 'hard handles' never used any of the other ones.

The slim-line handles were the BEST.

Other then the writhing on the handle has changed, they seem the same. The hard handle never really stopped production. Even though the screwdriver offering got pretty then for awhile, many offer handled tools still had them. So it's not like SO had to go fine a new material supplier or anything.

Obviously different colors, but they're the same besides the logos

I think the handles are made out of ultra high density polyethylene; or sometimes called UHMW for ultra high molecular weight polyethylene; the same stuff white cutting boards are made of; that's just a guess though.

The. Newer ones aren’t as smooth. There is more of a grainy texture. Still smooth but not shiny smooth like the older ones.

Blue is a new old stock 1996 green is new last year

New ones are on the top. 1996ish green ones on the bottom. The newer ones have printed markings instead of paint filled etchings. The flash makes the newer ones look shinier than they really are
