Snap On Classic SS

Does anyone have any information on these boxes? I have talked a little bit to my dealer about them, but cant seem to find any info on them online. Are they just a dealer only item? Just not on the site yet? any help or reviews would be spectacular.

Yeah, I'm confused too. SO made an SS Chevy box a while back,(KRL) but when you put Classic in there, that makes me think KRA box.

It is a new classic line of box from what i understood. From the minneapolis craigslist ad i found(only thing on internet ) 55" long. Looks like it only has a ss badge on it. 10 drawers with two of them being the full length ones.

No, it's a Classic. My dealer has one on his truck.

It's a flat black KRA2422 with the "SS" badge. Basically a KRA2411 with two full width drawers. Not on the website yet.

Probably a 22 badge, not an SS badge. I think you are talking about the KRA2422. Basically a Classic 78 with 2 full length drawers.

Edited to add: Seeing the pic above. It is an SS badge. Its been awhile since I saw the initial pics of these boxes.

I definitely will. Scheduled ship date is oct 28th so itll be a little while. I got a crazy good deal on it so its worth the wait.

silly boy. you know the KRL's are better. but that looks like a nice box.
my dealer told me those were coming out. i am sure that they will be available with colors, some day.

Its available in all the standard classic series colors according to my dealer. Im guessing the weight per drawer wont change.

Lists for 7000? According to my paperwork from snap on it's not even close to that list price. My paperwork shows an msrp of 5100

Probably got distracted by that new box shine. Judging by the one picture of the open drawer, there seems to be a lot of empty space. They might be trying to recoup some of their money to actually buy tools. Who knows.

Probably could be had for pretty cheap. I don't know why you'd want it in white though. It'd be dirty ALL the time.

Less than msrp after financing. I havent told anyone the price i paid for it. I did get one heck of a deal on it though.

Some of the emblems have small studs that go thru the metal and are held on with friction nuts. Removing the emblem might leave holes.

ahh then i shall leave the emblem. I was reading in the owners manual and it says you need a special tool to remove the slides? I wanna change some drawers around.

Really depends on your current tool/financial situation. If I could do it over again Id have gone bigger. I didnt expect to make the money I make so soon so I bought a lot of tools fairly quickly and have almost outgrown my classic. Its been a great box so far no real complaints except that they need taller casters. I think my box is way to short.

Can't really go bigger unless your Industrial rep really likes you. Mine said he'd get me whatever I wanted out of the catalog but I went with the SS. Best 2K I ever spent
