When the economy was good I bought several Snap On collector wrench sets. These were in green metal boxes, black chromed wrenches with gold lettering, one set was Snap On/Dale Earnhart. They are real wrenches. I paid a lot of money for them thinking that they would only go up in price, but they did not. First, Snap On made a ton of them, second no real interest today. They have been setting on a shelf for years and a they only have the value of a new set of wrenches. Would ya'll go ahead and use them or put them away for your estate sale when you die;)?

If I needed to use them, I would.

everything has it's time later when it's price will appreciate especially if it's collectors. I say keep them NIB and wait. That or trade them for something you really want if Looking at the wrenches really piss you off

I wouldnt use them.Eventually the economy will get better hopefully and people will start spending. But honestly it will take a certain person to buy those because from my view they are an expensive dust collector.

No way would I use those. I was given the same set from a friend that picked them up at an estate sale, said he got them with a large tool collection; he had no use for them, nor do I, but to use them would ruin them and the collectability of them. They will be sold someday.
