So the Snap-on conference started today apparently. In years past there has been a thread detailing some of the special deals they run. Haven't seen one yet so I thought I'd start one :).

Anybody got the scoop?

I got a message from my dealer, I was looking for torque wrenches. Tech angle 20% off, click type 15% off.

These are what my snappy man advertised. I think he had more, but I didn't see the whole flyer.

They are obviously discussing making hard handle ratchets with marble colored handles. Hahahahaha. I got the colors too. Grey-white-lime green-tad of pink. Like a bowling ball!

Thanks. I actually ran into the SnapOn truck in a parking lot today. I was curious how it would go since I was just regular guy and not from a shop. Actually great experience so I'd say our local truck is not like some if the stories I read here.

I didn't realize the show was going on until I got on the truck and I totally had a brain fart and failed to ask about what other specials they had. It seems the krl722 is one if the deals. That's what I wanted a price on anyway.

There was a great thread last year from a dealer attending the conference but, his pictures and comments were too revealing resulting in Snap on throwing a hissy fit and the thread vaporized.

I must be getting cynical in my old age because, although I make my coinage with my tools, have a mostly truck brand selection, and have been doing this for more than a few years now, I find those "special" prices obscenely expensive. :dunno:

Chad thanks for posting the pictures. I started the tread last year that was deleted. I believe that as long as the pictures do not show any conference pricing that they are acceptable to post. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. With that said, there are pictures from this years show on Facebook.

That's a great deal for the impacts. I have never set foot on a snap on truck before. I'm hoping I can find a truck to take advantage of that. Will all dealers have that pricing?

Wow I didn't realize the thread was deleted. Guess maybe SnapOn complained?

I'm still hoping to work a deal on a 722. I more day for them to call me back I guess. Fingers crossed...

So far the only deal my driver has informed us about is this. How ever he's posted several photos from the convention

I grabbed these pics from Facebook. I wish I could of been there this year. I had planned on going but getting my other businesses up and running took priority this year. Oh well, SFC will be in Dallas in 2016 and I will definitely make that one.

Quit is not the term I would use but you are correct, I am no longer a dealer. I still have lots of dealers that I still consider friends and SFC is the only place I can see many of them. There are a number of dealers that would allow me to attend SFC as their guest. It is the coolest trade show I have ever been to. You can say anything you want to about Snap-on but they do know how to throw a party. Since I live in the Dallas area, I plan on attending that party when it comes to town.

I've got a 3/8th set of impact sockets that I haven't opened and don't really need. I'm hoping he'll trade them in towards a set of impact swivels or a new 3/8 cordless impact

Looks interesting although the corner guards are chrome which is odd. Half the point of a roll cart is that you can bring it up next to your work so a non-marring corner guard is good just in case it bumps something. I'd like to know dimensions but it will probably be stupid expensive if they're slapping "EPIQ" on it.

My dream cart is 24" deep, 46" wide, in white with rubber corner guards. I'd be on that.

I like the EPIC cart once there is info for them I will probably get one. Plus the rock and roll truck should be by in the next couple months to quote me a new epic box as well. My driver said that they would make me a better deal than he can so I have to wait.

That is beautiful. I think the dull plastic guards look like ****. I get where you are coming from about working on cars, but when you work on construction equipment, the cart is going to loose in any accident so bumpers are pointless. Chrome is always better then plastic anyways.

Are the special pricing deals only through a dealer or are they also offered at Snap-on's online store? I'm needing the SP500 diesel timing kit, it's $212 on the website currently. Would be nice if it was going to be one of the items included on these deals.
I'm a DIY'er so don't really have access to a truck. I've filled out all the info for a local franchise dealer to contact me thru Snap-on's website a few times, but nothing.

I was wondering when they'd finally make an epiq cart! :rocker: Looking forward to finding out the dimensions though it does look very similar to the krsc246 except the second to bottom drawer is a little shorter.
Bummer about the add on power cab for the epiqs not becoming available. Guess they want people that want the power cab to upgrade to a bigger box! :spit:

I have one of the Snap on cup style inverters, that I bought a couple of years ago to charge my Iphone, it causes the Iphone to go absolutely batshit when you try to use it while connected (charging).

I know one of my dealers here called snap-on and threw a fit about the guy that posted the pictures last year....Within a few hours the thread went down....

I don't get why the dealers get so butthurt that we know stuff from the conference. It's not like it's really a secret. Just like pictures of a new body style of a car a year or so before it comes out.
