I bought 40aw3000 corner bumpers from a krsc46 from snap on for $45 to put on my classic 60. i work in a machine shop and was looking for something besides the stainless corner guards. figured they used double sided tape to install. Wrong, there is cutouts in the box that they fit into. I could cut the ribs off and use the tape but I'm guessing the 1/4 inch on each side wouldn't keep them in place very well. Any ideas? Don't really want to use screws. Anyone know of a corner guard like this that uses tape?

Good thing you work in a machine shop. You could use aluminum angle and then cut the spreading tabs off but leave the posts of the tabs. The drill holes in the angle and glue the 2 together. Next double stick tape the deal to the box. How much time do you want to invest into this?

I kind of get what your saying. Glue wont stick to the angle very well though, did you mean drill holes in the angle and screw threw to the corner guard?
