Hey was thinking of getting one of these for my tool box but am curious if it will work. I am using a tca tool box with a side locker and he other side has a handle. I was thinking of mounting it to back of my box but am wondering how exactly it mounts. My under standing is it sits on the edge any one able to take a picture of the back maybe? Thanks

Can't really take a picture of the back since it's mounted. It has a curled lip to hook over the edge of the box. It also has a couple hole in the back plate. I recommend drilling a small hole in the box and run a small sheet metal screw to hold the hanger in place. Otherwise it slides around.

Thanks ya was just looking at my box doesn't have a lip, flat top and bottom so dunno how I'd mount it, also this is my creeper so don't know if that would even fit on it....

I made one from one of the mounts from a hanging side box and welded a hook to it so it is basically the same thing. It needs to go over the lip on top of the box. If yours doesn't have the lip you will need to come up with something else. Likely it will involve drilling holes. Or some sort of magnet but I haven't found any strong enough to hold more than a cup of coffee or some paperwork.

Thanks for the info my top box has 2 brakes bolting it down so hopefully I can use those bolt holes and make a hanger
