what type of bulb dose a snap on ct4f test light use i know the snap on part number but what is the regular parts store equivalent

If that is the light I am thinking of, I have it, and replaced the bulb with a GM dome light bulb. Think 1970's or 1980's.

dome lamp bulbs work fine just go to a display and look around they fit foreign cars mostly, the 211 GM style maybe to thick.

See if your Snap-on circuit tester matches up to one of the OTC circuit testers. I suspect that a Snap-on circuit tester is a rebadged OTC circuit tester. OTC supplies replacement bulbs for their testers.

Look on the base of the bulb. There may well be an industry number stamped there. Let's see a picture of the bulb. There are standard bases and standard globe shapes. That only leaves the voltage and current rating. I assume it is to run on 12 volts. Snap On is not likely to have special ordered unmarked bulbs.

I think mine takes a 6614F bulb. I realize that this is digging up a fossil thread but Google points to this and I didn't see the part number in the other replies.

Snap On CT4C test light has a GE 189 bulb, I could not find one, I did use OEM tools # 25020 was on Amazon for $9.18 for 2.

ALSO: Snap On EECT307A0 test light has #6614F bulb, I did use OEM tools # 25888 (lights up red) was on Amazon for $6.59 for 2.
