Yes, I did a search. all I found was old post about people complaining about it after being out for 3 months.

Yes, I did watch videos on you tube. But of course snap on will make it look twice as good.

Real world experience is the w7150 still the top dog or is the ct8850 really better?

Thanks.

I went with a 8850 after some crackhead stole 7850. I tried it side by side to the Milwaukee 1/2 and to me. No question the 8850 is boss. Save for the one year warranty. But chances are you won't need it.

My local pawn shop has a ct7850 for $460 and the thing looks like it was dragged behind the service truck and still works. I won't buy that thing but after seeing that maybe pony for the next model.

i have had all 3 impacts i had to get w7150 warrantied twice for electric brake problem but the 7150 and M18 fuel do seem to have a little more power i traded ct 8850 for a angle torque wrench

Six in one, half a dozen in the other. Snap-On, Milwaukee, IR, even MACs new line which isn't getting near the attention it deserves (they are NOT DeWalt rebrands). All their top tier 1/2" impacts perform similarly. For what its worth the 8850 is made by Bosch for Snap-On and merely shipped to the states for final assembly.

Shop by price, warranty, platform flexibility. Performance last. I'd never touch Snap-On cordless near list. Price is insane and the warranty is worst in the industry. My 2 cents.

Yup, their 18v Reciprocating saw is also Bosch, grinder and 14.4v Reciprocating saw is Metabo. Snap-on power tools are not worth the money, I do like how my drills perform despite this.
