CTR725-300R Includes everything that goes in the head, costs about $70.
CTR725-301R Is for the anvil body only so you have to transfer over your pawls, direction dial etc.. costs $35.

Thanks for the info, is there an option for just the pawls and springs like you can get for an air ratchet? or do I have to get the anvil/gear section with it?

At that point should I just send it out for a flat rate repair, will they replace the burnt light and worn out body (plastic casing) in the repair?

Flat rate repair will repair everything or replace the entire tool. Bodies generally only get replaced if they're cracked or if something like the rubber over molding has come off. If it just cosmetically looks like trash you may get it back as the 725 was replaced by the 714 a while ago although if memory serves the 725 and 761 (3/8) shared the same bodies so it should be entirely repairable. It would probably run you about 100CAD if I had to guess but also covers shipping both ways, at least in the States. Worth it if you're going to spend anything close to that just on parts.

FAR7000-302 Pawl
ME2A176 Pawl Pin
ME1A168C Spring

It may also interest you that they sell replacement housings for the 14.4 batteries if those are chewed up. That's part number CTB8172-1, includes both halves and screws, and cost about $10

Thank you sir, once again you have saved me.

I reopened it up today and found the gears on the center ring( looped gear portion) had some chewed teeth, very slightly which in turn is the culprit. I am debating the flate rate repair at this point, as the light is also burnt and it wouldn't hurt to give it some love.

Thanks again!

By the way where do you find all these part numbers and I cant find anything of value on the s-o site... or even Google.

not to get off topic a little bit but does Snap on replace a cordless tool if the outside and inside are just beat to hell (not abused but from heavy use)? Or does it depend upon their mood at the time they receive the tool?

Snap-on use to have a great online parts section which has gone completely down the crapper. Now you can manipulate it a bit to find some part numbers but the diagrams are completely gone. Sometimes you can find the old ones on sites like powertoolrepairohio.com.

Its best to just call anymore.

They'll replace it if its under warranty and cant feasibly be repaired. Out of warranty if they have parts they fix it. If they don't they'll give you credit toward a replacement. I've sent them things like impacts where i'd get it back and the only thing original is the motor rotor and back plate or cordless tools that retain the same shell but everything inside is new.
