Hello everyone I have an impact wrench snap on ctu3850 I bought it on ebay but it does not have enough strength to work, it can not loosen the screws of the wheels of a car easily. It can be from the battery that is the original.I have asked a 3.0Ah reconstruction kit.Regards

Do you have the battery adaptor that converts to slide on batteries? I have a 3850, it is not even close to the strongest cordless impacts out there now but mine takes all of my tires off. It is rated around 250 ft lbs.

Hi, I do not have the adapter for those batteries. I ordered a battery reconstruction kit. See if you can with the wheels. If I put it on sale at what price I can put.

It's pretty much a dead product at this point, might just have to eat the cost as a lesson and move on or hope you find someone that might want one.

I don't think you can get those batteries anymore or even the adapter to use the newer slide adapters. From you location I take it you're not in the US so very different than here but the battery could help it out or the impact might just be wore out.

Are you able to access newer stuff like dewalt or Milwaukee because price wise it might be better looking to dump yours for a newer different brand.

I had my battery rebuilt once. BAD IDEA. It was ok at best for a little while then hissed when on the charger hence me getting a slide on adaptor and a slide on battery. The good thing, the CT 3850 output torque is around 250 ft lbs which is the ideal torque to use with torque sticks according to their instruction sheet.

I have not purchased the adapter, but if I have found the battery reconstruction kit, I have already asked for it to arrive. And what is the price of a dewalt or milwaukee for a workshop? Or a modern snap on does not work?
