Well it’s a 9. But I don’t see a straight 9 with a foot like this on the chart.

I'm far from an expert, but I BELIEVE I remember some of my SO stuff having the date code upside down compared to the other lettering.

Well, considering penetrating oil or acy/oxy torches hadn't been invented back then I guess they had to resort to pretty good steel to deal with those old stubborn fasteners.
