Hello all, I am new to the forums!

I just got a little bundle of snap on tools for $200 bucks.

when I got the items I saw that the Ct8810b was a Demo. I have no idea if this makes it more valuable or collectible?

How do you end up getting a Demo tool?

The dealer gets the demo for people to try out , also let’s people use it if they have to send in their air or cordless power tools for repair

Did these come off of a snap on truck/dealer? If not that demo might be hot.

Jesus dude, what's the rest of the story?
You bought them where?
Bought them off offer up! Guy in my area claims he changed career fields after college. Stuff is in great condition. Almost like it was never used…..

That story does not add up. Those tools are, sure as ****, stolen... but you don’t “know” they are stolen.

I have no need for those tools, but I would have bought them.

You need to buy a charger for the Snap-on battery.

You see why I bought them🤣 I have no need for them as well. Already have Milwaukee impacts as I don’t do ALOT of work at the shop anymore. Saw the deal and was too good to pass up

You wouldn’t pay 200 for a $500 impact wrench + a multimeter + brake bleeder wrenches + misc. wrenches and sockets?

Hell no! I'd rather not be involved with stolen property.

Plus I don't need need any of that junk.

Nope, definitely stolen. Like buying tools stolen from a contractor. This is why things are the way they are, no personal integrity everyone just out trying to one up each other, worst part is you didn't even need the tools.

Didn’t even notice it said demo until I brought it home and looked closely at it under a light. Just wondering how he got it…..

Got a hold of some local reps. They claim snap on/Matco will sell Demo tools. They claim they’ll sell demo tools online as well

I bought a demo MG325 from a dealer I had once. Right off the truck. He said the bonus was it could be rebuilt for free. Never tried. Nobody knows if those tools are stolen or not. Doesn't look like a steal either way to me.
