The FAR72C no longer shows up on the online catalog under 'air ratchets' but the gun metal version will come up if you search by part number. Only the FAR7200 shows up on the general listing. Any ideas what's going on?

It's been replaced with a PTR72, redesign of the original. Head looks the same, power is the same, slightly smaller and less expensive the the FAR72C.

Snap On is ******* me off. They are fuc*ing up all the things I like. They just changed the prybar handles and now the best air ratchet they ever made gets gone. Hey Snap On......why don't you just come on over and kick my dog then get a beer outta my fridge?

I found Internet references to the PTR72, but could not find it in their online catalog? What gives? I suspect it is part of a larger consolidation but I'm concerned about the lag in their online catalog.

Best just got best-er. 5 ft-lb more torque, 50 rpm faster, rubber grip and $80 cheaper.

I've always thought the 7200 replaced the 72, and dealers were just riding on old stock. Over 20 years they've probably made a ton of those.:dunno:

As for the pry bar handle redesign, I'm not digging it either, aesthetically. But I'm sure the flared striking end will be a great addition.

Website is terrible. I'm sure your driver has a handful of things not mentioned online. I know mine did lol
