Looking for some help from the resident Snap On experts.

I have a KRL1056 that I am trying to find black drawer gaurds for. The only "kits" that Snap On list for it are polished or chrome.

I have been back and forth with customer service a few times on the subject, and my dealer has worked his but off trying to find me a solution but basically got the same answer from Snap On that I did.... sorry about your luck.

So help me out. What are my options? Will gaurds from a KRA or KRSC or similar fit.

I have no issue buying a set that is short one and buying an individual to complete it. Also not against buying something too long and cutting it to fit. Likewise it does not need to be a Snap On product. Just needs to fit.

Thanks

Let me see if I can find the name on the company that actually makes the guards for the KRL. They are in the SF Bay area.

Thanks everyone. I will look closer Monday.

Does anyone know if guards from a classic series will fit master series?

Thanks again everyone. This is a screenshot if the snap on website. Note it lists one part number with an application of KRL/CLASSIC.

That is what has my interest about the interchangabilty perked

Do you want it for protection or looks? 3m vinyl wrap would be a super cheap option, would protect from scratches but not dents. Tons of colors available.
If money is no concern, could get the brushed guards from snap on and wrap them black, or have them wrapped.

If the new ones from snap on are aluminum, you could send them out to be annodised.

If they are stainless, I think they turn black if exposed to bleach (bad memory, bit I know you can turn stainless black at home by using some common household chemical)

I had my last boyfriend wrapped with 3m. I found that once scratched it was impossible to get clean and it offered no protection to dings and scrapes.

3 days later I return and realize what autocorrect and my inability to proofread have done...
