Snap-On drawer pull chrome trim alternatives

I know I can buy it from the dealer, but is there any alternative to add the aliminum strips to the drawer pulls on an older box? Maybe they sell something in longer pieces I could cut myself? It doesn't have to be exactly as the factory trim. I just like the looks of the trim. So basically I want to make a box like this...

Sorry, I should have been clearer. I'd like to stay with extruded aluminum versus plastic or vinyl. It just doesn't need to have the same exact profile of the snap on stuff.
