So ive inherited a snap-on toolbox. Many of the slides are worn out. I read elsewhere that snap on has a lifetime warranty on these... ? my questions; since im not the original owner, can i still claim these under warranty? Do i have to use a local S O truck or can i go right to the factory? Also, i cant seem to find these for sale. Anyone know where their sold?

yes they are lifetime warranty. ive warrantied slides on boxes i've bought second hand before. I usually go through my SO driver but you can also just call and they will send you out however many you request.

From what I've read here - and I can't find the EXACT thread now - don't tell them you "inherited" the box. Just claim you're the original owner.

However searching the forum for "Snap-On Warranty" will net you a lot. Mostly good experiences.

Woohoo! I called snap on on monday, they said, "Yep, no problem we'll warranty them. We'll email you instructions on how to send the old ones back. When you send them back, we'll send the new ones." So ive been waiting for the email... But today i get home from work and theres a box full of slides waiting for me!!! Will put them in sometime soon!
