Has anyone used this light yet? It's a "super flood light" but I'm wondering if it's worth the $300 price tag?

I QC'd both the corded and cordless version of this light a year and a half to two years ago. I still have a couple of them actually. At the time the corded was either 3,500 or 4,000 lumen I believe.

The overall feel and use is high quality, and the light is very bright white. The whole thing is one piece of aluminum with heat transfer fins on the back. Then a rubber cover for the edge. It's either the same light and manufacturer or the mold for the body is just popular and they use the same multiple COB array with a diffusing lens over it.

If this is a single COB emitting light source then it's a different light than I have.

I would have thought the price would be higher, not a bad buy.

I have something similar from blue point. It really lights up an area. Sometimes too bright. I did not know Sanp-On made a version of this light. I bought the blue point light about mid year 2014, I think, it was great for working in a dark shop.

Here's a cheaper alternative.. I haven't yet, but I'm probably gonna buy a different model from this company. Anyway - this one is advertised at 6300 lumens for $110.. Waterproof too I believe. 5 year warranty

An old coworker had the blue point version. He was a mechanic for a friend at home who was a car dealer. He said that it was great and even brought it to work when he knew he'd be under a car for a while to light up the undercarriage.

I can't say anything for durability or life span especially since he babied all his tools and he's since left our shop.

They sold amazingly well given the price point.

They have two levels of light so it doesn't have to be so overpoweringly bright.

The auxiliary sockets on the back were a big selling point for my customers.

Those lights are better for outside and need to be in area that needs a very broad spectrum do not look into light directly blinding easily
