Quick question, I have a Snap-On dealer that is suppose to come every friday around noon. The last 3 fridays he hasn't shown up and I've had previous issues with him being flaky. I ordered a Epiq 68" box from him a few weeks ago ( no cash changed hands, nor did i sign anything or get a recipt for it) and its suppose to come here in the next 3ish weeks. My question is can i back out of buying it since i havn't signed anything and its not on my account or anything? I just feel ive been treated poorly by my tool dealer and i dont care to continue to help pay his paycheck when he cant be honest and professional with me.

Considering you just ordered a very expensive box. He should be servicing you better.

If you do back out of the deal you should definitely let him know ASAP. Don't wait for him to show up to tell him. Find a way to track him down.

I would be honest with him why you no longer want it. He could then accept the fact or make an offer to service you better and perhaps you keep the order.

If it hasnt shipped to him yet you could save him a huge burden of carrying the inventory. He was nice enough to sell you the box with nothing down and no contract of any kind. The least you could do for him is try to help him from having an Epiq laying around.

If youve reached out to him already and agreed to buy the Epiq. Unless him or his wife is in the hospital or dead then I would tell him to pound sand. Sounds like you are being easy to deal with. If you do decide to still buy the box I wouldnt fill it with tools from him. Matco or cornwell tools work just fine and the Epiqs are still great boxes

How has the dealer been flaky and how has he treated you poorly?
