Re: Snap-On EPIQ Triple Bay Tool Box, $10,500

Why wouldn't they? You obviously signed up with this site in order to sell the box, that is surely not the intent of the General Garage Discussion Forum or the site in general. Instead you should try eBay, Craigslist, or your local classifieds.

Experienced members are allowed to post items for sale in a clearly marked classified section...it has rules "You must have a minimum post count of 5 to post threads in the classifieds. Alliance members can post no matter their post count. **Do not place a classified ad elsewhere in the forum due to not having the required post count.**

Note: The Garage Journal is not a classifieds site. We have a classifieds section just so that users can help each other out with deals and finds. If you are here looking for profit, please don't post".

I'm certain that continually relisting the ad is a sure sign of insanity and if you had used the site as many others have previously you would understand that this is more about discussions then trying to sell a product. More appropriately it is against the listed rules to do so so someone is deleting it.

Not sure you can have a for sale thread? Have to look at forum rules

Spot on.

Not to mention this new thread was posted in the wrong section as well. I have moved it to the correct Q&A section of the forum.

If you're here merely to peddle your wares, I suggest finding a new forum to do that on. If you want to become a productive member here, sit down and enjoy the forum.

EDIT: I've also changed the thread title so it doesn't appear to be classified ad thread.

On top of all of that, I see that he hasn’t logged back on to his thread since posting yesterday to see any responses to his question. Hmmmm....

Hasn't logged on in the last 24 hours? Probably a Nigerian scammer.

Not everyone is on internet forums all day. We are the exception

:)
I understand that, but I would expect that if a guy asks a specific question on any forum, he would drop in at least for a minute or two sometime in the next 24 hours to see if anybody gave him an answer. Right?

Life happens. He also probably got a notification last night with replies and decided not to come back

In total he has made 3 posts. All the same and all in the incorrect sections of the forum. 2 of the posts had been deleted by Admin before I removed the one in the Introduction section. It was a close to to remove as a scammer but I like to give the benefit of the doubt. Banning is a last resort until you have something that confirms the poster is a scammer.
