Hello, my name is Gregg and I just joined here and also just purchased a 84" epiq toolbox black with black trim, & it has the power bank, power house, & power top. I also just got the epic hutch with led light bar & left side wall locker. Both the hutch & wall locker are yellow with black trim. It has been 3weeks sense I ordered my new toolbox & should have it in the next couple of weeks. I am really looking forward to getting it. Once I do get it I will try to post a picture. From what I can tell I will really like it.

Gregg

Our master tech just got one in black with the power bank. Its a freaking house on wheels. I cant imagine what one of these looks like with a hutch.

I posted it in the toolbox thread a few weeks ago. Video too (crappy one tho)

Is the half locker half price? I did not see that in the snappy book...but if they bolt together you can put a stainless top on them....hmmm...pretty sweet.

Ok I will bite how much was the little guy?

They call them bulk end cabs. http://store.snapon.com/EPIQ-153-STORAGE-LOCKERS-C629488.aspx I got the $1000 off epiq accessories deal on each item, plus whatever discount my driver threw in. I told him I needed somewhere for my fridge! Delivery driver said he had never seen one either, and had a whole 18 wheeler full of epiqs.

Wow..nice but dear god there are 1k less then the locker....ahh the snappy way. I will check if my snappy guy has any....ahh and just when my account was a zero again...lol. I ended up with my lockers for 2600each which was not that bad of a deal and I know he got them for buy one get one free from a show a few years ago..so he made out as well.

Are you going to take out all the shelves to get the fridge in? They make a bad *** epiq fridge but it is red only...

Yes the same truck dropped off a box at my shop a few years ago....what a sight...it was full of Epiq's and 3 repo/demo boxes that were going back to snap on

Fridge is staying right on top until it dies. Been with me for years. When it does go, I'll probably look into an epiq fridge and then put a butcher block on the end cab with a vice mounted to it.

how do you like the full size drawers?
and if you had to choose would you rather have 2 2" drawers instead of one of the many 4" drawers?

Mine Was the first one of many boxes I have had to show up carefully packed in a household goods movers truck, rather than a generic freight truck. And that guy, too, had a whole load of boxes to deliver.

I only have about 3/4's of Matt's settup:

I like what you did with the shelves in the locker. I gotta play musical drawers the next time I'm free (likely never lol).

Thanks! I thought it made better sense that way. I really like all those drawers compared to the old KRL w/stationary shelves. I made point of rearranging all of it as I loaded my stuff.

Love them...It was the first box I ordered thru Snap On...all of my boxes over the years are used, dealer demo's and boxes from the huge show they have once a year...so when I got to order a box I did it the way I wanted...the Full Drawers work great...all my pliers in one drawer, screwdrivers the same..etc I hate all of my other boxes being broken up and always having the larger drawer on the right side that normally gets filled up with airtools and **** I do not use a lot. No I like the drawer sizes I got and unless I was putting tooling in the 2" drawers I can not see using more of them...I have screwdrivers in one and Pliers in the other one...I noticed my bent pliers do not fit..so for me the 4" drawer works great

Alright guys. So you get this epiq kick *** toolbox and they give you this cheesy name plate to put on it it doesn't really even go with the toolbox. What do you guys think ? I'm looking for an older name tag building one out of nickel or something, horrible the new name tags

James

I agree that the new name tags pretty much "****". Fortunately I safely removed my old metal one that says, "Especially built" for. Of course it is much smaller but I think it looks better.

I think they are much better. I just got a Epiq 68 inch and the top hutch black with black trim and it does have more room. My original box was a KRL1001 and that was the Dale Earnhardt edition bottom rollaway, which I been using for 21 years. With this Epiq I plan to change out the one drawer that's on the bottom right and put in a 6 inch and a 4 inch. Now in getting the box in after they all left we found that inside the hutch there are screws that attach the slotted panel to the box, well turns out they are either screws too long or they cranked it down pretty hard. Two of the screws pushed the outside panel out, but did not go though the box. Although it is on the back side and can't been seen when covered, my problem is I paid a lot of money for this to just let it ride. So guys, double check the back side of any of those Epiq hutches buy. My question to you guys is.....if I kept the box in exchange for a discount. .....What is a good dollar amount to ask off the price off the box? Either way he's got to take it back or come off a good amount on price of hutch.
