I ordered a Royal Blue 68" Epiq box 2 weeks ago (seems like forever ago) from my dealer. He told me trhis past Monday it wouldn't be here until August. I barely had time to throw money at him to pay on my tool account so who knows? Anyone know if they are on back order?

Snap-on is building a lot of tool storage based on orders placed. Especially with the number of variations available in the Epiq boxes, your box is in line to be built.

MERK sheet rock your garage, makes a big difference in terms of ability to see, cleanliness, appearance, etc. Not to mention fire prevention!!

That's okay. I look at it often. Can't wait. I love my Classic 96 but this is a much bigger and better box.

That's not what I wanted to hear. I want him to drop it off this week.

Thanks for the info!

Not sure if it's true with the Epiq boxes, but I ordered the side cab for my box about 3 weeks ago. It's due here 1st or 2nd week in June. My dealer said they do batches of different colors. So a whole batch of yellow, then a whole batch of blue etc. He also said if I had wanted red he could have had it almost right away, but since the Royal blue is less common I had to wait until they were built.
It's nice knowing it's all paid for so I don't have to worry about that part.... but at the same time, when I drop some coin for something I want it right away! I hate waiting!

they are on back order. I bet they are working overtime to get all the orders filled. Luckily all the boxes I have needed were in stock so only a 3 day wait.
My epiq I ordered will be here in about a week. it was red so they did those first i guess

Are there alot of Epiq orders? I've yet to see one, but the more I look at them (I just got the new catalog last week) I'm thinking an 84" with the powerbank would work good for me.

I'm planning to hit Crystal Lake next month and hopefully I can get a hands on feel for one there.

Mine is bare, and i have thought about sheetrocking it....but i always stop because i'll lose the space between the studs for small storage and I hate having to hunt for a stud to screw somthing down.
