Snap on Ethos Plus users ?

Hi,

I'm trying to find out some info on the Ethos Plus.

I know it's not as advanced as the Solus Ultra etc, but i can get one very cheap on 14.4 software.

It doesn't do Bi-directional but does anyone know if it can do electronic handbrake pad service modes/resets etc ?

We have a Solus Ultra at work but i want my own machine for doing homers and quick scans etc when the Solus isn't available.

I got one free with my verus and I'm 99% sure it does not do ANY bi directional at all however it will do all resets or at least tell you how to do resets.

Edit, mine is just an ethos, not a plus, and it sits in a drawer with my mtg2500 and mt2500.
However I still don't think there's much difference between them.

An Ethos Plus will not do any bi-directional, an Ethos Tech will. It's really just good for looking at data, and it does give you more info then a code reader, but I would research other options if you need it to reset brakes and the like.

Bummer, i know it's basic but i had hoped it would do handbrakes.

The Ethos Tech isn't available outside of the states.

My other option is a used Solus Ultra but it would be on old software like 12/13.2 etc.

So turns out the Ethos Tech IS available here.

Anyone got one ?

Can it code injectors etc ?

Yes it can, the new guy in the shop confirmed, he says not much outside of domestic though.

Does he have Euro on it ?

I'd obviously be buying one here in Europe so it would i hope have full Euro coverage. We rarely get any US vehicles.

From what my dealer was telling me, the ethos will read anything but won't control anything. Ended up buying a solus edge at the shop.
