Soooo picked these up for $5 each while garage saleing with the wife today. The GF831 I believe I have pegged at 1995 from the date stamp between the on/off selector.
However I can't find anything solid on the GF70S, any help is appreciated. Thanks!

The GF70S would probably date in the 70s. You got a good deal. Take them apart, clean and lube, should last you many years.

I was thinking 70's I believe it's the industrial finish but not positive... Can you not add pictures to comments without a URL? First post here at the garage journal.

Well I took care of the GF70S and took the two torx screws out of the GF831 and realized on the ratchet head it says sealed ratchet do not immerse in fluids, will I not be able to get the gear opened for cleaning and lubing or is it just being stubborn to get out?

There is a website called Collectingsnapon.com that may help you with your tool ID. It has been lots of help to me.
