Snap on f 710 d Repair or Replace

I have a snap on f 710 d ratchet it skips teeth and the gear set has a
lot of slack in the main plate that screws on.
Rebuild?
or
Replace?

I'd rebuild it if it were me. Those guys that have to replace the whole ratchet probably shouldn't be turning wrenches anyway.

I was just wondering this ratchet was given to me today.
Its a 1976 year if I can get a kit ill rebuild it.

Rebuild kit RKRA38ALS should drop right in.

Order the special tool SPP744 for installing the ball.

The ball is attached to the spring in the kit now.Check the housing if it is worn too.My father had a 1/4 Snap On ratchet that had had to be replaced all because the housing was wore out.Dealer tried to put in a new kit and there was problem with it getting the plate back in place.
