Snap-on F10L 3/8

I don’t even know why I bought this because I never really use breaker bars but dude wanted 30$ for it, not sure if I over paid.
Looks like it’s from the 40s any idea how much torque I can apply to it?
I’ll post pictures of the model number in a bit.And do you use breaker bars at all?

You can apply as much torque as you can with your bare hands (no cheater pipe) and you should be fine.

I have a Craftsman and an SK std length breaker bar in 3/8. Never used either one. I have a few different lengths in 1/2, those do get used, although not much. I have a few in 1/4 and don't use them. I have one in 3/4 and I've used it a handful of times.

Would not have spent even $5-10 on that. So short, can't break much free.

I have a couple 3/8 breakers and i don't think I've ever used them. I've used my 1/2 extensively though.

They seem to go for 20-30$ shipped on eBay. However a few have sold for more or less.

If you wanted it and have a need for it, I don’t think you should feel too bad about it.

Your right.... Any way what to find out the year of this there is not year code on it only a pat number D -132891

I find breaker bars useful for holding a fastener being impacted off instead of using a wrench, hurts the hand less if really stuck. The shorter ones work good with bit sockets. Kinda like a heavy duty hex wrench.

To me, it looks like 1948 at the earliest.

The date code looks if it's Been ground off.
