I picked up an F71C that needs help - which is the correct rebuild kit for it? Anyone know?
I know this reply is 12 years way too late, but I wanted to comment anyways. The actual kit for the F-71-C was L-962C. There were a couple of these kits which popped up on Ebay just recently, but they were sold. Actually any of the 962 kits could be used. RKRA962 being the latest (I believe) which ran from 1980's, 1990's, possibly later. But they are, at least in my opinion the rarest and toughest S-O repair kits to find these days because these kits and ratchets they serviced are close to or more than half a century old now. I could go into other alternative options for your repair on your F-71-C, (other kits/parts) but you probably parted with it many years ago by now. These days, people are either selling their F-71's or unfortunately warranting them for newer models like the F-80. Anyway, best regards to you!
