Snap On F80's

Can anybody tell me why they're so many of these floating around? It seems like every craigslist ad that I run across, has a new or used F80 for sale. Most of the time you can pick a new one up for a 1/4 of the retail price. Now with that being said, I did pick a F80 and a TF72 up for $50 a while back and they work beautifully. I'm just wondering are these ratchets being "lost" during shipping, counterfeit, dealer price, etc...

Answer is they get them as extras within deals look in 6 months prices wil be normal

I think it's just because it's the most common size ratchet that people use.

what's normal? a quick scan of ebay shows mostly used ones for mostly ~$50-60

Mostly due to their inclusion in lots of promotions and BOGOs. Also most people sell them once they get frustrated with the short length and trade up to a longer/flex F80
