I aquired this set from a friend who owed me some money and I dont need sae wrenches. I do just fine with my gearwrench sae's cuz i dont use them much. My question is, what is this set worth? Its a whole set but is missing the 5/16 and 3/8...and the 1/2 is NOT a FDP...all in great shape no owners markings. I just want to sell these cuz i dont need them....if this thread needs moved, mods feel free to move it, Thanks http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...9&group_ID=517&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog

well, it depends. I sold my SAE set for $150 on ebay couple years ago. I also bought a mint metric(10-19) set on GJ classifieds for $115 shipped.

Less and less as time goes on. I would NEVER spend my money on SO SAE wrenches. However I really want to get some 20mm+ FDP wrenches. To expand my 10-19 set.

really? thats it?

going rate on ebay is 125-150 for a complete mint set. The set you have is incomplete and a little mismatched. I think you'd do well to get over $100.

Keep in mind metric has largely overtaken standard so you're dealing with a crippled market as well.

While metric is more popular especially with cars, heavy equipment which can last decades have lots of SAE fasteners on them so there is a market. I sell a fair amount of both. Probably worth $140 in my store but they would sit for a while. Offer them for $125 shipped and they should sell.

As a rule of thumb, used Snap on will sell at about 50% of retail if they are in good shape. I know several resellers cause I see them at auctions on a regular basis, and our pricing is all about the same.

Is my SOEXLM15 a Flank Drive Plus ??? (10 3/8" Long)

I recall one of the S.O. dealers here saying these are discontinued.

I'd like to value my 10mm,12mm,13mm,14mm,15mm Set ?

NOT for sale !!!!

SOEXLM15 is a flank drive plus wrench , this should be obvious by the notches / ridges in the open end.

FLANK DRIVE PLUS.jpg

The part # SOEXLM15 breaks down this way .
S = pluS
OE = Open End
X = boX
L = Long
M = Metric
15 = 15MM

Open end + box = a combination wrench , so you have a LONG FLANK DRIVE PLUS 15MM COMBINATION WRENCH.

Yes the set is discontinued, for more detailed info on this set see my post in the thread linked below.
