Had an order of Snap On and when I got it in the mail thought I made a mistake. (Dont have a few before you order). Thought I had gotten another 1/4 round head and was getting ready to send it back, well had a second look and found I ordered the right thing! Anyways didnt know these existed before and haven't seen much talk of them on here so heres some pics of the 1/4 and the 3/8 round head in the same size.

Prob going to become my favorite ratchet, Time will tell.

I have the same little 3/8" in 1/4" body roto. Best ratchet I've found for cramped quarters spark plugs (I just wish it was quick release).

I was looking at SO's but like you I wanted quick release versions which they didn't have so I ended up buying Carlyles 1/2, 3/8 and 1/4 in roto heads.

I'm not really a Q/R kinda guy so that doesn't bother me. I had the itching to convert one of my 1/4 but this fills that need for me.

Only reason I've wanted QR is for spark plug sockets sticking on a plug and not coming off with the ratchet. Stuck pulling them off in cramped quarters with pliers at that point, but that's a problem with the socket, not the ratchet.

I could see that. Luckily for me my truck doesnt have spark plugs  I may eventually get the snappy magnetic spark plug sockets, but havent gotten around to it yet, my old ones never cause me issues when I need them.

Neither does mine.

All my issues are at work with smaller twin cylinder generators where the rear plug is right up against the enclosure. Ratchet is perfect for it, but the damn rubber insert just won't let go at times. Been curious about the magnetic plug sockets for a while now...
