It is a "licensed" product. Like those knives AutoZone carries. Just using the name.

Yup, Chinese junk. Bought a set years back that was the same as the first set (Light & Knife) that also came with a stubby flashlight. Flashlights were both awful, and the knife fell apart within a month.

I still have the tin case to keep my misc Snap On tools in, though.

Well, that's disappointing to hear. I wouldn't think Snap-on would let their name be licensed for use on **** products.

I guess the price was too good to be true.

I mistakenly purchased a costco snappy flashlight a few years back. Thought I'd be getting a maglite kind of quality flashlight, but it's hardly. It works but it's low quality and it has no relationship to the truck tools other than the logo.

Snap On's willingness to ***** their name out to any cheap chinese junk vendor is a clear indicator that they are up against the ropes in their market share and will their future direction for all tool manufacturing...:spit:
