Snap On FR936 3/8 Ratchet

Got this still in wrapper. Clean tool. Only thing is can't get sockets on it. Like the ball won't go in far enough to allow the socket to snap on. This is model with button on head to release. Any ideas??

Well, it's got a warranty -- call your local dealer and see if they'll rebuild it for you.

Maybe some lubrication on the detent ball and push button? Had this problem with locking extensions. Does the push button move freely?

North, lubed up ball and detent, still no luck, ball does not depress enough to clear socket recess. Still will not accept socket. Is rebuilt next step??

Yes. The dealer will either know the problem or fix it. Free of charge.

Take it out of the wrapper!!!!????

Hubba, I put the sockets inside the wrapper so it wouldn't be in the way, still don't fit.
