I have the very same set that was given to me by a friend. I have never had the occasion to use it, and was wondering how well they work, and how difficult it is to master the technique of use. He gave them to me, since he also never had occasion to use them, and they were taking up valuable real estate in his limited tool box.

I have the Matco version and use it 2 or 3 times a year. It works much better than a socket and you don't end up denting the frost plug.
