ok, i repainted a KR555, and got new slides for it. they went in smoothly, and seem to operate easily. so easily, that the lube stick i bought for lubing them (recommended in another thread) didnt get used. they pull out about half way, hitting the stops correctly.
so, i figured out how to the the trim back on the drawers without tearing up the paint (which i need to take pictures of the process, and i will be posting about soon), and took the first drawer back to put in. one of the short drawers on the top.
and it won't go in. it goes into the slides OK, but trying to push it in was a struggle. so, i get it back off the slides, and try another position. it goes a little better, but not great, and stops about half way in like it is hitting a stop or something.
i suppose i am missing something. i throw myself on your collective wisdom. what am i doing wrong?
thanx
