Are Snap-On FV series 12 point 3/8" sockets Flank Drive? Thanks!!

I do not think so, they are military issue.

With snap on a v in the part number means military.

And NOT warrantied either. I never saw the FV's in our Air Force aircraft toolcrib, it was all standard Snap On with full warranty.

I'd be real surprised if Snap-On makes a non-FD 12 pt. socket anymore. It's been around since what, 86 or so?

Flank drive was invented in the 60's or early 70's for the US Navy.
