I played around with one recently. The directional change is cumbersome, just like all the other gearless ratchets I've ever come across. The head thickness isn't an issue, but the width sure is. I would never purchase one.

It sits in my box, essentially unused.

I tried to force myself to use it, but it doesn't meet my needs.

An FL80 (approx 10 inches) is what I consider a standard length. The vast majority of my ratchets are this length. So the handle is too short, even to really change oil with.

The head is too wide to fit most places, and as thick as my SK ratchets.

So, it it has poor leverage, and a wide head. It can't benefit from the tiny swing arc, since I can't break anything free with it, and even if I could, it doesn't really fit.

Racthets to me are about reaching obscured stuff. Otherwise it's impact, or air ratchet.
