You can buy them from snap on directly. Are you using for ratchets screwdrivers picks?

Look up snap on hard handle either here or Google I do know the sdd8 handle is great with 1/2 drive ratchets with a slight drilling of handle to work

I have a few extras. Upper left and center area (hex drivers are correct handle sizes for ratchets):

Upper right:

Not actively trying to sell any. Again, what are you trying to do? You can buy them from Snap-on.

You can still buy the handles by themselves, and according to my SO man as of last week, they occasionally do limited runs of 3/8" and 1/4" hard handle ratchets in red, green, orange, black, and sometimes a unique color. He had a couple 3/8" long ratchets with hard handles and some standard 1/4" hard handle ratchets on the truck.

I do prefer the old hard handles, but I have to admit, the new SHL80A I bought is quite nice too.

So are you guys saying its possible to fit a hard handle to a regular ratchet?

As in regular all-chrome handle? Possible, but not the easiest; this requires turning the end of the ratchet shank to a smaller diameter in order to press fit the handle on.

However, replacing a comfort-grip or older-style handle on a ratchet is actually quite easy.

Yeah I meant retro-fit to the regular handles.. but if it involves that sort of work, I think I'd just rather keep them and buy more with the handles already on.

Can you tell me what size Torx driver matches the 1/4" ratchet HH size best? Do all of them? Will a T15 be the right size? I want yellow HHs for my 1/4"' ratchets and Snap On doesn't make them. No screwdriver is a match for size. But I think you are right, the Torx drivers might be.

TIA

It's not hard work and can be done fairly quick, but like you said it's a lot easier to trade them for ones already with handles.

As you said screwdriver handles don't match exactly to ratchet handles, but a T15 should be close.

You have yellow hard-handle torx drivers to sacrifice for this?

T8 and T10 are the right size. T15 is larger.

The mini Torx are too small.

Thanks Dale that's exactly what I needed. No, I don't have any yellow drivers to sacrifice. I think there are some on the roof of my local SO van. I'll check out what he's got. I need 2 ideally, for my THLD72 and THLDF72.
