Not a bad price at $130 either...I figured it'd be twice that since they're so popular!

They'll be available to order very soon as they are in some warehouses. Although, they are not shipping just yet. I placed my order with my SO guy

It'd be nice if they included a ratcheting screwdriver in the set although I doubt that they will...I bet it'll be 4 Flat, 3 Phillips.

*sigh* Flate blades.. I only really use them as prybars and general purpose tools.. mostly for prying..

4 and 3 is right. no stubby s.
ready to go in December. so we should see them before Christmas.

No stubbies, eh? Shame.

Man, how did I miss this thread. I'm kicking myself for selling my soft handle 3/8 flex ratchet now. I really dislike those soft handles, but now I have to buy another one to make one of these...

yes 1 2 3 I think I might be able to place my orders tonight. apparently they are going like hot cakes in other regions.
I asked for blue, but they would look similar to Cornwell colors and they want to stay away from that as well as blue point uses blue for obvious reasons.

Im on a quest to get one of each color for the mini screwdrivers. So far I have pink, purple, black, red, orange, dark blue, and gray.

I have watched the blue ones go over 400 a set. I showed some of the snap on product managers the final sales amounts and they were astonished at how much of a demand there was for the screwdrivers to be brought back. You can say GJ played a big role in that decision.
I ordered 12 sets lastnight and should see them in december. they are selling out fast.

look for the newer design. might try the snap on website to see if they show any pics of the new racing logo.

they are here to stay. the response from the dealers has been awesome. everyone ordered 12 sets at our meeting lastnight and that about wiped out what we could even order. there are more meetings tonight and wednesday for this region. I am sure there will be none left to order. as soon as I get them I will post a pic

never....... I have no earthly idea man. call customer service and maybe they could tell you. I am sure you will have to wait until the US side gets theirs.

I figured as much. trying to track down the SO guy here (hard to do with this guy if you don't work in a shop) to see what he knows about the handles.

I don't know if shipping/customs cost would prohibit, If you want I would order what you need and ship it up to you.

actually, that's a pretty good idea/offer....thanks! it actually shouldn't cost too much with a flat rate box. I'll see if I can get them anytime soon from the local guy first but failing that, I may take you up on your offer.

thanks!

Question for you guys. What is the best way to go about removing a soft handle from a screwdriver to replace it with a hard handle? I have been thinking about this and cant come up with a way to pull the 2 pieces apart without marring them up.
