Hi all, will be selling off my used Black Snap On Hard Handle screwdrivers soon and wanted your opinion about selling them on Ebay. I was thinking to ebay them on a Sunday evening to Sunday evening auction, No reserve and wasn't sure what to set the starting bid at. Should I start at 4.99 or should I be daring and start it at .99 to incite alot of watchers and hopefully get the prices up? Shipping will be UPS ground actual costs so probably ~8.00 to most locations and will offer multiple item discounts on shipping. Any pointer from my Ebay pros on GJ?

Keep them, Snap-on's hard comfort grip handles were great, you'll be sorry you got rid of them.

I just got a new set of instincts which I like (yeah I said it) and need the $$$ more than two almost full sets of screwdrivers in my box taking up space. I figured I'd capitalize on the popularity and make some $$ back to feed my tool addiction.

Hmmm pics and pricing? Someone on here might just buy em and save you some ebay fees :)

Otherwise.. look at other similar ended auctions and see where they started/ended price wise as well as when they were listed and ended time wise. Ebay's option to view completed listings is a great research tool!

Thanks, I have to get a list together and post it here by the weekend, I have used the completed auctions for reference but I see more activity (bids) from the .99 start prices auctions.

Well when I sold my orange set on ebay I started the auction at what I paid for them.
$75.00 for a brand new set and they sold for $228.00:)
What are the condition? Do you have the tray that goes with them? Those 2 things will effect how much you will get.

Is there much of a savings posting them for .99 vs. 4.99? If so go for the .99 because if they're in good condition you'll get quite a bit either way.

agreed but I was asking for opinions and wanted the GJ perspective as potential buyers would be more inclined to do.

Did you have them for auction as a set or one by one? I often see individual sockets and such go for .99 or even .01 cent. I think selling certain items as sets draws higher bids...others not.

I agree. I think you could have gotten more as a whole set. But what do I know?

DaMaN,

Would you be willing to post up here whatever did not sell? Or a private pm with what you have and would like to get?

Thanks

Kevin
