I'm going to order a set of screwdrivers on Monday when the SO guy comes. I have no preference either way. Is one better than the other in terms of keeping them clean? That's going to be the biggest factor for me.

Get the hard handles. I have both, The soft handles have incredible grip, but the hard handles wipe off and look like new. I had the soft handles first and found that they took allot more care to keep clean.
