I bought this Snap On adjustable wrench during Bike Week in Daytona about 1992. It cost $20. (at that time a Craftsman cost $14).

The convention center in Daytona used to be rented out by Harley Davidson for 4-5 days for displays etc. each year for Bike Week until the big Harley fad ended. That year they had a table with S-O Harley Davidson tool kits with popular sizes for a Harley fastenings for a road tool kit. I forget what they cost but they were expensive. I also think they didn't sell many and they could be sold for more today ?????

I imagine this was going to be one of those "at the dealer only" deals. Maybe Chad or one of the other tool truck guys remembers if they were sold on the trucks or not.

I don't remember if the tools had Harley Davidson on all of them or not. This was near the growing top of Harley popularity when everything Harley was in demand with waiting lists for bikes etc. This was also the height of the Harley fad with Harley Beer, Harley cigarettes, Harley pop corn etc. etc.

Anyway the adjustible wrenches were $20 and I also bought a small 1/8 inch screw driver (orange handle) with Harley Owner's Group and Snap On on the handle. The screw driver had the little clip for your pocket; it was either $3 or $5. I carried both of those tools on me at work till I retired in 2007.

Back to the adjustable wrench...it is VERY smooth even after 20 years !

The screwdriver picture is poor. It is supposed to be orange. The Snap-On logo is still visible, but the Harley Owner's Group logo has worn off.

Harley tools where sold at sears in the mid to late 90's. Basic wrench, socket and screwdriver sets. They looked nice, the packaging is what made me think they where SO. I don't think they were terribly priced. There was even a harley combo tool box.

I did not know there was a Sears tool thing.

The kits I saw were not real big and came in a zippered or snap pouch. It seems to me that it cost maybe $275...something pretty high. Snap-On stuff for sure.

I'll have to ask Snap On Scottie, a local SO guy (40 + years).
