I'm on the market for a Die grinder since mine crapped out, and noticed Snap On recently released its Heavy duty die grinders. The design and comfort look bang on but a pretty tool doesn't mean its a good tool :) I know I could get the IR,CP,Blue Point or Snap on PT200 since everyone knows its proved itself, but for the extra added dough, why not get more HP for a lifetime of easy and comfortable use! 1HP that is!:willy_nil Does anyone own one and has put it to good use, any feedback is much appreciated on the new heavy duty snap on die grinders

1/3 HP Die Grinder Stock #: PT100A $181.00
1/2 HP Die Grinder Stock #: PT200A $210.00

1HP Heavy Duty Die Grinder Stock#: PT400 $259.99
1 HP Heavy Duty 90° Angle Die Grinder Stock#: PT410 #310.00

They are bad ***. My snappy guy cant keep them on the truck. For an automotive shop they are complete overkill. Even turned all the way down they have hair triggers and can be hard to control for delicate work. The straight shaft turned all way up torques up so hard it wants to jump out of your hands. The only way I can bog down my straight shaft is with a 3" flapper wheel (this is with 1/2" air lines and fittings @160psi)

Should also mention that besides the power, this die grinder is big. For general automotive work you're going to find it difficult to get at tight spots.
