I'm looking at possibly picking up a used set of Hertiage series boxes (KRA4114 top & KRA4107 bottom I believe?).
From the reading I've done they are pretty much bottom of the SO line but are still quality boxes? May be a little over priced new but I'm looking at ~$1k for both used which seems fair?
I'm just a home DIY guy and the box will not be overloaded or moved around much if ever so strength shouldn't be an issue? I've read that their slides are sub-par and may need replacing after a few years of use? Assuming that is true are these SO specific rails or can they be bought elsewhere at a reasonable price?
Can additional draws be ordered for these? Both the top and bottom come with 2 shallow drawers (1" ers?). It appears the current owner has switched them around so that the top only has 3 of the 2" drawers and the bottom has 4 of the shallows? I'm thinking I may want to leave the top as is and replace 2 of the 1"ers for a 2"er in the cabinet?
