Snap On IM31

Hello everybody! I have checking this site out for months and finally registered today. I have a question for you experts out there. I have a Snap On IM31 that was a hand-me-down and just found out that it is not "hammering". It spins but I can stop it with my hand. Snap On wants $130 for the rebuild. I have been poking around here and saw that some of you guys do it yourself but I have not seen how to do it. I am by no means a dummy but have zero experience in taking an air tool apart. Thanks in advance and I'm glad I am finally apart of this forum!!!

Probably needs hammer pins. You should be able to look up parts on snapon.com

Yes snap on will have the parts for it. And after that it really isn't all that complex. You'll be able to figure out how to do it once you find the problem
