Its not fair the prices from Industrial to Mechanical. If anything the Aircraft mechanics make more then automotive so shouldn't it be the other way around?

The trucks will honor the pricing if you provide a PO from an industrial account. Simple.

Do anyone here have an industrial account? I'm looking for a socket that appear to be only available through industrial customers.

Better off that you didn't see it. The discounted pricing that the industrial accounts receive would have just made you upset.

I talked to my snap on guy the ohter day about this because I am buying an mg725 impact and was seeing what he could do about the pricing because of the flier and he said a big reason they get it that cheap is because its for big accounts like the military who buy all the tools for their mechanics so they get a big discount of course but the tools don't come with a warranty.

So this post is why my inbox has been filling up with gmail requests that I share the Snap-on Industrial flyer.

About 2 weeks ago I uploaded what I thought was a slightly clearer version and shifted privacy settings on the old doc.

I suppose the OP saw my post on ToolGuyd about the Dog boxes (http://toolguyd.com/snap-on-dog-box-toolboxes/), grabbed the link to the version I uploaded to my Google Drive and decided to post the link here.

That's okay, but next time how about a link telling people where you found the link and who uploaded the flyer. That way it won't be such a wild goose chase for me to figure out why I'm getting all these random people requesting access to a PDF that's no longer linked to in the original post. There were so many individual requests that I deleted the old file.

For reference, here is Snap-on's link to the flyer: http://www.bluetoad.com/publication/?i=190268&p=2

I didn't mean to step on anyone's toes here. Sorry for any inconvience, I was just passing along something I thought was a deal and never questioned the hosting.

Not a big deal.

This is why I host PDFs via Google Drive, otherwise your linking to it here and KnurledNut posting the images would have cost me at least a couple of dollars.

It was the flood of request emails and the wild goose chase trying to find out WHY that was a minor frustration.

In any case, I provided links to the official Snap-on source. I still have the PDF as a public backup if need be.

Because of where I work we have an industrial rep and a regular truck dealer.
I buy from both depending on the need.
If you need it now I go with the truck guy. The industrial rep has to order all of the stuff so you have to wait often a couple of weeks.
While the industrial rep is for selling to the big companies, as a courtesy they will often sell to the employees as well.
Warranty. It is my understanding that for the company any warranties are done by the rep as a courtesy. This is based on the fact that they are often production used tools that get the snot beat out of them. He told me that is it is broken and not that old he will replace it and if it is just worn out the company is SOL.
I have warrantied several things through him and never had a problem. The tools are the same tools, with no different markings on them

Great info Bob. Good to hear about the differences from someone who has access to both types of accounts.
