I got the hard handles. But I prefer hard handle everything, so it really comes down to what feels best in your hand. As for washability the hards clean up nice. Not so sure about the softies.

Side note, when I bought these I was expecting them to be gods gift to mankind the way guys talk about them, and really I am not that impressed so far. I don't drive alot of screws in a day but they seem to cam out just as much as my Mastercraps did (when they were new). Is all the ranting and raving more to do with durability or what?

Maybe your screwdriver is defective? My Snap on philips cams out less than my wera with the lasertips.

I have a soft handle set, I've never tried the hard handle but these are great. Easy to clean too if your into that..

I don't think so, seems to in both Phillips sizes. These were my first high end drivers, maybe I was just expecting the world of them when I shouldn't have.

Just gives me an excuse to try out some wiha now:drool:
