It seems we have a Local Snappy Dealer on Tuesday of Every Week, I stopped by today to pick up some Socket Rails/Clips and Looked around the Truck. While i was up there we shot the **** on how business was going etc and he asked if i had seen the NEW Hot Tools flyer. Anyways there is a Sweet deal on a S80 and a Shallow/Deep Metric socket set that works out to be about 50% off. I went ahead and scanned a few pages for you guys to look at, Enjoy  . BTW I dont want to Hear anything about how you can get the same stuff cheaper at HF or How good a Duralast ratchet is. If your not interested in the Deal or Snap on Tools in General, Move onto a thread that appeals to You. :spit:

Like Normal I believe this is only for Franchised Dealers and is a voluntary, I dont think these deals are available via snapon.com.

I will check with my dealer monday. Sometimes these deals vary by area.

i agree. see this offer---

http://www1.snapon.com/display/231/...with_Starter_Pack_Promo_10_8_10_final__2_.pdf

date on this offer is october 8th. I literally found out aout it in the december issue of performance tool or motor magazine or some trade mag i get at the shop. This was 1st of dec When i read about it, I inquired to my dealer. Showed him the magazine too. He had neevr heard anything about it. Called corporate, they are supposedly done w/ the promotion--yet they had over 100 of them left he said.

He is trying to still get me one. Ill know next friday as i will have missed him last friday and this friday due to holidays. Not somehting i need--but a hell of a deal that im trying to get it.

On the socket deal. Lemme see: You pay $295.95 for the 10-piece deep set, which comes out to THIRTY DOLLARS PER SOCKET and get the shallow set and ratchet for "free"??? Sorry, not much of a deal if you ask me.

Sorry, that's only $29.55 per socket. My bad. :wtf:

Would it be possible for you to extend the same courtesy but in reverse?

And thank you for posting the scans.

You did it yesterday or today in an HF toolbox thread I'm subscribed to, as an example. I'll admit you don't do anything as bald as mention Snap-On specifically, but you heckle anyone who makes a choice you wouldn't or find a way to imply that their choice is somehow inferior or dangerous even when it suits their needs adequately.

You'd be an awesome politician.

Hey anything to help you out.

Its like buying a porsche and getting two free. Sure you'd never spend that much on a car but what a ******* deal. You have to be an idiot to pass it up if you had the money.

What part was that, The part where i mentioned that i have 2 of the HF rollaround boxes and praised them as Awesome SQ inches for the Price. LMAO....

To the OP: I have 2 of the Black 4 Drawer Roll Carts, I purchased 1 New for like $75 bucks and the other was a Used Aquisition. I use both carts for stationary storage and they have Provided me with Cheap sq inches for around a Year. I really dont have any Complaints other than now i need to swab them for Lead paint.. Lol.. My internet is the **** in the Hotel and i cant even load Photobucket for pics. Ill update when i get Home.

Just to refresh your memory.

In this case, the part where you jumped on the fear-mongering "it's probably going to kill you with lead contamination" bandwagon. As I said, just an example, you do it often enough that I've learned to recognize your name and discount your negative opinions of things because it's impossible to tell if you've really found a good reason something ***** or if you're just bagging on something not made in the US. Again, I'm just asking for the same courtesy you asked for in your opening post.

That deep+shallow+ratchet deal is tempting... I'm selling a stack of toolboxes tonight and the money was supposed to go elsewhere, but ...

I need to unsubscribe from this thread before the updates convince me to buy

Whatever Dude... You obviously have me mixed up with someone Else. You see im the one who spent a couple hours putting the "IMport jack thread" together so the Members could fix there own problems, I also own some Genius stuff that i created a "Review" Thread for the Members... ETC... ETc... etc... I give honest reviews and Opinions and dont try and shove it down everyones throat. Please i beg of you to go find some more Negative comments ive made about a tool based on COO Alone.. I dont talk just to hear myself, If i give a opinion i will give Reasoning. Oh... on the Lead Poisoning... :lol_hitti

well... i has craftsman sets, it served me good but when i started to become heavy line tech, it keep break on me all times(not matter if use on ratchet or air ratchet) so i got snap on sets, it stopped me from make numberous trips to sears... so far i has no problems with snap on sockets...

even snap on sockets are thinner than craftsman sockets...

there is so many reasons of that.. but i still keep all my tools...

the socket deal is pretty damn good however, how often do you use 10mm-15mm in 1/2" drive size?

i'd buy the set and sell all the little sockets and use the money to buy the bigger more commonly used sockets

.

First Thank you for Posting up the flyer. Second there is no reason to bring up any other tool. It wasn't a tool debate or what should someone buy for X amout of dollars. FWIW even though I'm a fan of most any quality ratchet I am about to pull the trigger on a new F80. As far as the thread goes. No question requires no answer

So does Rob have any of these ?

good flippin luck getting them from him. he has all of it on his truck but he won't sell them to anyone until he knows he is being reimbursed the money that the deal loses from him.

i almost don't want to buy anything from him anymore. he doesn't fill his end of the bargain when stuff is for sale in the flyer. he doesn't do his research

Usually the promo flyer is for the tool trucks from what I remember.

Good deals though!

I've had this deal in my toolbox for over a month now. I didn't get the free ratchet, I didn't need it, I got the money off of the sockets. I think it was around $160 for the 2 sets. That's without my trade in of CMan sockets at $20. So I'll have about $140 in the 2 sets. Thats about $7/socket. That's not too bad to me. I will probably get killed on filling out the sets since there isn't any deal on individual sockets but that's all part of the game. I'll just replace my CMan as I see fit.
