Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could please help me confirm the make and model of an old toolbox that I've recently acquired?

After doing some research and comparing pictures, mostly from threads on this forum, I'm pretty certain that it's a Snap-On K-60 Super Chest, but I'd like to know for sure. From the different threads that I have read on here, it seems like many of you know a lot about these and how to identify if they're early or late models with original handles and knobs. I'll post some pictures of it down below for you all to view.

It's a very nice looking and well built toolbox; super heavy too! I think it was repainted at some point. I can't seem to find any serial number or stamp on it anywhere, although I might not be looking in the correct place. It's missing the name plate and it has mismatched handles with a few missing. I'm not sure if any are original or not. It has some damage in certain spots and it definitely seems like it's been well used over the years, but I think it's still in good shape for its age!

I'd definitely like to know more about it! If anyone has any information to share, please let me know! Thank you!

Looks like one to me, but I've never seen one in the wild.

Thank you for the information, 930dreamer!

That was one of the threads that came up in my research. Are these toolboxes really that rare? I wonder how many of them were made and how many survived to present? Is the top box K-60 or the the bottom cabinet K-200 more rare? I would think that, being sold separately and also marketed as a combo, roughly equal quantities were made of each with a possibility of the K-60 being slightly more popular.

I'd really like to find the correct handles and the name plate for it, but it seems like it might take me a while to find them due to their scarcity. How feasible would it be to find the missing parts or even a K-200 Roll-Cab to complete it? Were the handles and name plate that were used on this toolbox used on any other toolboxes as well that might be easier to find?
